| To set up this
computer to access the Internet through geeksnet dial-up do the
following:
Note: this can be used to setup Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000
and XP.
- Download the geeksnet
Installation file (exe 310KB)

- When prompted choose "Open" to download the file and
begin the setup.
- You will be given instructions once the setup begins.
- You will need to know your User Name, Password, and your dial-up
location: Greenville (758-2206) or Wilson (237-3077).
Note: If you are unable to download the above setup file follow
the instructions below to download a zipped version.
- Download the zipped
geeksnet Installation file (zip 253KB)

- When prompted choose "Open" to download the file and
extract the setup file.
- The file you downloaded is in zip format. You will need to unzip
(uncompress) the file before you can use it. If you do not already
have a utility to uncompress Zip files, you can download one from
WinZip.com.
(Windows XP has a utlility built-in)
- Click the "Extract" icon. Then choose the location
to which you would like to extract the file.
- Locate the file once it is extracted and double-click it. This
should execute the setup program. You will be given instructions
once the setup begins.
- You will need to know your User Name, Password, and your dial-up
location: Greenville (758-2206) or Wilson (237-3077).
To set up another computer to access the Internet through
geeksnet dial-up do the following:
- Download the geeksnet
Installation file (exe 310KB)

- When prompted choose "Save" to download the file and
save to a clean floppy disk.
- Once the download completes close the download dialog box and
take the floppy disk to the computer where geeksnet is to be installed.
- Open the floppy disk and double click Geeksnet.exe to begin
the setup.
- You will be given instructions once the setup begins.
- You will need to know your User Name, Password, and your dial-up
location: Greenville (758-2206) or Wilson (237-3077).
