Fetch is one of the more popular FTP clients for the Macintosh,
and very easy to use. Run the Fetch program. If a New
Connection... dialog box does not open automatically,
go to the File menu and
select New Connection....
Set up the dialog box as follows...
Once Fetch has connected to geeksnet.com, you should
have a window which looks something like this...
To download a file from geeksnet.com to your computer,
click on the file to select it then click on the Get File...
button. To upload a file from your computer to geeksnet.com, click
on the Put File... button and select the file from the file
selection dialog box. Fetch will also ask you what Format the file
is in. ASCII text and HTML files should be transferred as Text.
GIF, JPEG, audio, and other binary file formats should be transferred
as Raw Data.
